The Lyme disease lie

Dr. Sam Bailey examines the official story of Lyme disease — a diagnosis established in the 1970s in Lyme, Connecticut, and attributed to the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi — and asks whether the science actually holds up. The video challenges the reliability of the standard two-tier diagnostic tests (ELISA and Western Blot), which carry well-documented false-positive and false-negative rates and cannot confirm active infection.

Rather than a single bacterial infection, Dr. Bailey argues that "Lyme disease" functions as a catch-all label for a broad constellation of symptoms — fatigue, joint pain, brain fog, neurological complaints — that can arise from multiple, unrelated causes: environmental toxins, co-infections, immune dysregulation, nutritional deficiencies, or underlying chronic conditions. She questions whether Borrelia burgdorferi has ever been properly isolated and shown to cause these symptoms under the rigorous standards of Koch's Postulates, the classical framework for proving a microorganism causes a specific disease.

The video also addresses "chronic Lyme disease" — the long-term suffering of hundreds of thousands of patients worldwide — which is officially dismissed by mainstream bodies such as the CDC and IDSA, leaving those patients without a recognized diagnosis or treatment path. This mirrors the broader conflict between the germ theory model (one pathogen = one disease) and a more terrain-based view of illness, in which the body's internal environment — not any single microbe — determines who gets sick and why.
